The Moloch City Project
In May 2017, Sebastian Heiner and Michael Wruck launched the Moloch City project in Shanghai. The newly opened Studio Shanghai in the North Bund Art Zone was the starting point for the artistic and media documentation of the work of Sebastian Heiner. The episodes in this book were inspired by Audrey Hörmann who suggested writing a journal about our stay in Shanghai. The title Moloch City draws directly from our impressions and experiences of the megacity Shanghai. Following their residency in Shanghai, Sebastian Heiner, Michael Wruck and Steve Long in Berlin produced this book.
The Moloch City Project
Im Mai 2017 starteten Sebastian Heiner und Michael Wruck das Moloch City Projekt in Shanghai. Das neu eröffnete Studio Shanghai in der North Bund Art Zone war Ausgangspunkt für die künstlerische und mediale Dokumentation des Schaffens von Sebastian Heiner. Inspiriert von Audrey Hörmann, in Shanghai ein Tagebuch zu schreiben, sind die Geschichten dieses Buches entstanden. Im Anschluss an ihren Aufenthalt in Shanghai fanden sich Sebastian Heiner, Michael Wruck und Steve Long in Berlin zusammen, um dieses Buch zu gestalten.
